i would take a gander that creating a set of rules will be very difficult to adhere to for all these s2000s out there. The closest rule book you might want to apply would be the last SPRWD rule book from the NHRA or TS division for sanctioning body like IMSTAR...outlaw class or Q16 is too open and deviates too much from a street car.
Good Luck though at making something like this happen.

How about we have this coincide with the 2010 Homecoming 2 Meet in September? There will already be quite a few cars in attendance for that event.
Suggestion:
We could do the road race cars at Buttonwillow on 13CW as the track is only ~125 miles from LA. If there is enough interest, I could arrange to have a day at the track with a few sessions for S2000s only. AMB Transponders would also be made available.
We can separate cars based on power or tire compound.
A safer way might be to have people set practice/qualifying times like Time Attack, and then group people together based on that to minimize issues due to traffic.
The drag racing could be done at Fontana, Palmdale, Irwindale, Banning or Pomona. I'm not a drag racer, but I am sure we have a few drag guys here from Southern Cal who can chime in.

[QUOTE=s2000Junky,Sep 15 2009, 11:59 AM] Yes we should do 1/4 and timed runs on a track both, but with he same car. The goal would be to find the quickest overall S2000/driver skill, that means the person modding their car has left the integrity of the car intact wile increasing its performance in all areas such as track and

I don't know about anyone else, but I don't have much experience in circle track..I can see alot of issues coming up from that.
No offense to anyone here, but I don't trust anyone else on a track with me, lol.
1/4 is a different story.
