Which s2000 should i buy
what turbo car are you driving? a GTI? is it turbo from factory? cuz if so then you really don't know as much as you may think getting into turbo not from factory
450whp on 7psi you will NOT get this on an s2000 engine lol
First you need to goto inline and talk to them instead of the board, inline pro is great and will take care of you. You will want a 3m headgasket if your going for 450whp to make it safe IMO and they will probably advise the same. It is def. doable as many on here are at that or higher power.
It won't be cheap you will be spending at least $10k easily on this setup
GL and hope you reach your goals

Anyway the only reason I said 400 on 7 lbs is because I see all these GT35 kits gettin 400 WHP and ASSUMED they were not runnin high boost because I thought with 11.1:1 compression, the car might not be able to handle it even with forged internals.
BTW I figured it will cost me 10000 total for everything. I figure I can get the kit for 5000, 1000 for goodies(injectors, ball bearing, head gasket), 1500 for tuning and install, 1000 for clutch and install after stock clutch goes.
I'm runnin' a GT35 peaking at about 9psi on stock compression w/the Inline kit, AEM ems, and dual 3" exhaust w/injectors and pump and all that stuff. I put down 389 and 239, I DD my car, a clutch is a must over 300 whp. I'm actually putting out a little more than some people w/a similar set-up but that's about what your going to get w/out a head gasket and lowish boost.
For me this is the best set-up, once you start upping the boost after dropping the compression then you run into the hi-boost issues (heat, heat and heat, plus various other niggling things).
I'm VERY happy w/my set-up, so far I only have about 3.5k miles on it but as a DD it's doing very well, w/a little torque below the curve these cars are sooo much more fun to drive. You definately don't have to boost it to have a much better driving experience, by the time it's actually into boost your gettin' it pretty good.

With one of these, do you think a clutch upgrade is necessary?

i would be more worried about the size of spray required to get that thing spooled... now thats a dyno queen turbo!!! can't wait to see it hanging off the front of a supra braggin about how his 6 speed put down more than any viper 6 speed
