S2K:Round II
After yesterday and seeing how the car was responding to everything was crazy. I wasn't skeptical when we were nearing the 600whp mark if we could do it..but after crossing that..it seemed to do just fine.
One 24lbs it was on a SOLID pull until about 6500 and then it started hiccuping bad, we thought it was on par to make 675 easy by 8500.
All in all, it was a long day. I'm working on a right up I'll post up here soon w/pics, video may be later, lol.
As for fuel pressure.
50 w/the line off, ~43 w/it connected.

any idea on IDC?
I had some fuel pressure to play with, and then crank the BAP, so I wasn't worried about fuel in the least.
Rattles, small oil leak..crap like that.
sorry for all the questions....
what kinda of voltage were you running the BAP at? I would think that running the meth really helps you reach those numbers seeings how you are injecting more fuel from an auxiliary source which inturn lowers the amount of work the walbro has to do... Im just curious how much power could be made (on a 3mm HG) with no meth injection and just a BAP + Walbro combo, if it could 650whp with no issue, it would save me roughly $1000 that im about to dump into my fuel system, i just dont know how comfortable i am with running a single walbro with 17volts of power and it seeing roughly 75psi......
I know Evans has had alot of success with the product, but Walbros are iffy pumps from the get-go (meaning some fail premature, cant be ran low on fuel) but i guess as long as you monitor fule pressure during your WOT pulls, and it hold nicely than i would think the setup would last ok.....

The big nozzle for the AEM kit is a 550cc nozzle. So yeah, you are basically adding that to the equation as well.
Irish, I'm comfortable with one single pump and the relay/BAP.
I personally feel better using meth to reach 650whp then a 3mm h/g, but thats just me. Others choose the h/g option...
Awesome thing is, I can flip a switch, and not have to deal w/race gas, or anything..hold on for dear life..haha
