Rather than making a new thread I figured I would ask here since we are on the same subjects. I'm looking to make around 350-400whp and was wondering if with some upgrading can the greddy kit produce that. It just seems like a good reliable kit to go with after all the reading I have done. I have also read alot of yalls threads and seen you using this same kit.

S2K? Maybe something with a bit lower miles, that way you can for sure know it hasnt been beaten that bad. Maybe look for an older owner and not some 19 year old. I got my 04 with 16k on it with thousands in mods for only $20k . So there out there just gatta keep looking!!

*sigh

Here is the basics of ANY turbo kit

Some things are optional but most a mandatory, doesn't matter whether you piece something together or buy a 'kit'

The S2000 is no different than boosting any N/A car, same logic (and parts from the chart) apply

Actual mileage is not the end all to whether a motor is healthy or not. Usage (or in some cases abuse) over time is more important with maintenance being the most important factor into whether a motor is healthy or not.

Compression and leakdown test are very good indicators of motors health. Do those to see where the motors at and determine if it requires a rebuild.

very good is 240, but anything above 200 would be alright as long as all numbers are consistant. Its used to basically see if one of the cylinders has lost compression. A leak down test would better tell you the health of the rings, Head gastket, valves etc. Search is your friend.

Nope you will want to go a bit bigger, to start off small you will look for a log/cast manifold design. There are several very nice Inline Kits out there to help cut your teeth on. Here is one that I helped install and it is in imaculate condition, you can pick these up all day log at a fair price.

The key is to make sure your car is 100% before you put on a turbo. I would recomend the following

Compression and Leak down test
Adjust the valves
Fix any oil leaks
Cleanup the engine bay

Order your turbo kit
