Default S2K turbo kit?

Hi everyone. Im about to pick up a 2008 berlina black CR. I plan on getting a turbo kit shortly after. Only thing im confused about is if i MUST have a hondata kpro as a tuning tool for the turbo kit. I'm not to sure if shops can do custom tuning on the dyno, without having to go thru the trouble of buying a whole new ECU. Thanks guys

If you get a turbo kit you will need something to tune it. I prefer the AEM ECU.

u need AEM FI/C or
Greddy emanager -ultimate both requires boomslam harness.
(those 2 are cheapest options, so u will have a little problem to deal with it) i am not so sure ...

but if u plan to go more than 10psis than u need k-pro..
or u need to buy a special harness someone made for AEM EMS, but u will lose the DBW functions, such as ur traction control (VSA) and ur CEL light will stays on.

so u have no choice..
K-pro is ur best friend so far, i am going with k-pro too.

DBW ( drive by wire ) needs the kpro to work properly. If you just got a CR go ahead and buy the kpro and youll love it.

dont ruin a new cr i mean having a turbo is awesome dont get me wrong but you will void the warranty right away and something could go wrong and you can end up paying up the ass.

Yeah. I was having some thoughts about voiding warranty . The car is incredibly fun to drive right now don't get me wrong but like everyone else out there , i <3 power lol. And to answer THESPY, I'm looking for around 400 whp . And thanks for clearing that stuff up guys. Even though its not what i was hopeing to hear..Getting a turbo kit was already expensive but now to add 2k to that for a KPRO is a real bummer. I'm going to have to talk some more with the shop i plan on getting it done by, see what they offer n such. I wish honda never switched to the DBW makes things a bit harder on the wallet.

Lol . Yeah im going to be needing some insight in the near future so this forum is going to consume alot of my time. If u dont mind i got 1 more question. Is it necessary to replace clutch n such when getting a turbo kit ,or do the stock 1s hold up when u don't drive like a maniac every 5 seconds.
