If it were me, id attach their ECM and change the pulley at the tuner.

thats a long way... you running aem or hondata?

You may have to do some install at the tuner... like run it with the stock injectors and ecu until you get there and then make the switch.

I drove 3.5 hours with my kit bolted up (minus the belt, injectors and AEM EMS) and the car did fine. Just don't drive aggressively. You'll be doing that the entire way home from the tuners : )

dont listen to the people who have never done it man.

it is perfectly safe to run oem injectors and ecu with the belt off the sc and everything else installed.

its like driving a totally stock S with a strange intake and walbro 255. i drove for 1.5 hours to my tuner and rode for 3 days before hand like that to make sure all was well before making my trek.

That is a pretty long distance. I would trailer the car just to be safe. You never know what could break while you are there.

I live in NC and we have to get emission inspections, so every year I have to take the injectors out, put in the stock ecu, remove the sc belt and drive for at least 100 miles, and it is just like driving it stock with a weired intake...it passes inspection and never had an issue...you will be fine.
