Default Safe to undo belt and leave everything else on?

My car is going in the shop next week and will everything tuned on a new setup. I was having some problems with Comptech Black box wiring and car sputtering. Wanted to take off the belt and put on a filter right on the TB and run it for a while. I got 550's on there, you think its safe to run NA with those? I know its gonna be rich but don't wanna go have it checked out as it would be $75.

Is it safe to drive it around NA with all the other mods like the injectors and FPR?

How are you controlling the injectors now? A VAFC?

The Comptech ESM is a pretty simple device. If it's not working, you'll have MAP sensor DTC's stored, and the car won't run in boost. Have you checked all the splices from the ESM?

Yeah I took out the frog harness for the VAFC and made sure all the wires were tight. Everything is running good now but just rich.

The FPR is powered by vaccum right. So if I unlpug the vaccum line will it only feed a stock level of fuel?

I can assume you are using the VAFC to correct for the 550's.

If you are wanting to run NA again, I'd pull the VAFC and 550's. You'll have better driveability and wont risk running it so rich you wash the oil from the bores and scuff a piston.

If you remove the Vacuum line any FPR or FMU the fuel pressure will increase, and never change based on engine load.

If you don't want to spend the 75$, leave it alone.

the frp is boost dependent. so there would be no need to disconnect it.
