Default SC blower oil seepage

It's not massively leaking or anything, but wondered if this was normal. Thanks.

I suggest you clean it and see how long it takes to return. This would give you an idea if you have a problem or not.

The oil is coming out around the compressor housing which although worrisome is only half the story. Where is it coming from?

If it's coming out the compressors drive shaft then it's probably a bearing issue but it may also be coming from the valve cover bleeder pipe that feeds into the compressor air input. Is there oil in the rubber/silicone pipe?

Thanks. I'll keep an eye on it. Traveling to Orlando today... not gonna push the car. 80 mph is 5k rpm... should be fine. :crossesfingers:

I have a tiny bit of oil in the pipes but not enough to worry about. I did have a little bit come out of the oil feed line at the top of the blower, wiped it off about a month ago and haven't seen it since.

Wish you the best of luck with it skip

I'm having a little worry about oil seepage/leaking too. I have oil residue and such around the diverter valve, and the gasket that connects the blow to the a/c. Is this normal?

Thanks
