I'm thinking of making a custom 60mm single exhaust with one resonator and a Universal HKS Hi-Power exhaust at the end.

I heard the HKS Hi-power exhausts aren't designed to be quiet exhausts, but I really like the way it looks.

Would this custom single exhaust be VERY loud on my Vortech SC'd S2000?

I have a hks hi power on mine with a straight pipe and it is hands down the best sounding one I have herd yet. It is not loud at all untill you get high in the RPM rang. Not sure what it is going to sound like with what you want to do but should be nice. Oh yeah I am running a comptech SC

 

Well, obviously it will be louder than the same dual version of the exhaust because you are only using 1 muffler instead of two. That being said, your piping is that large in diameter so I don't think it would be unbearable.
