Default SC with TP for spring install.

need advise. im planning to install my comptech SC and buy a 7psi pulley. and im planning to install my 70mm TP with the existing 70mm exhaust, is it neccessary to buy an wideband AF guage? coz from what i know if i have the cat installed the stock ECU will do its job with the 2 1/2 turn FPR. your help is very much appriciated.

Not necessary at all. However, what is necessary is to go to a dyno with an A/F recording device to make sure your A/F is in check (and adjust if need by). After its adjusted, no need to check your a/f really.

I have the CT with 7 lb pulley, Rick's header, TP and CT exhaust. I found out I was running lean all the way through the power curve. Adjusting the FPR helped with everything below VTEC, but I need a VAFC to fix it above VTEC. I now have a wide band AF guage to keep an eye on things.

which is better, take it to the dyno shop and let them have it tuned or buy a wideband and have an experiece mechanic(also a friend) do the tuning?

Don't need it, but it would be advised.

...or you could get a wide band and do it on the dyno since your wide band would be more accurate than the dyno's sniffer.
