Has anyone ever had their secondary air pump burst a hole?

My inspection is coming up and I want to get it replaced. But, I don't want to have it explode again.

Did anyone have a similar experience or know what the problem is?

What burst?

 

The black plastic part of the pump. It looks like it was caused by excess hot air.

 

Hmm, never hear of that

 

I believe the relay can stick sometimes and may casue the pump to overheat resulting in the problem you have
