Default Secondary Air System

What's up everyone-

We installed my Ironman 6-puck and lightened flywheel from Competiton Clutches this weekend (HELL with only jack stands). I am going to be installing my turbo kit this weekend, and I think I still need a block off plate for the secondary air system at the intake manifold... I saw that HTG makes one, but couldn't find it on his website...

Where can I buy one? Could I fashion one myself out of sheet aluminum from Home Depot? Any type of gasket needed for air tight seal, or just the plate and bolts?

Thanks again for any input.

John

ps-sorry this isn't an actual poll... stupid cell phone internet explorer confused the poll and topic options...

I got the HTG one (I believe S2KPUDDYDAD is the supplier), the bolt holes needed to be bored out a little more, but it fits.

Made my own. Took about an hour including polishing.

No reason to use a gasket.

If you have an issue please PM me, they are all made the same with this,

The holes are tight on some studs but, it is easy to open them up a little if need be.

I have never had one person ever have issue with this plate. I made 2 dozen and that was it I made them because, someone asked me to.

John if you need one let me know

Ben

Keep in mind that with the valve in place and no vacuum lines connected it is effectively sealed. This block off plate just removes an unnecessary part.

Mine came with my kit from LoveFab.
