Default Seriously Kraftswerk? WTF.

Ok so I wanted to address an issue with the kraftswerk kit. My buddy rocking the v2 with the biggest blower rotrex has to offer. He made 520whp on e85 with this setup. June 10th was his shake down and bad things happend.

First session first lap of buttonwillow he was doing great as he did a 1.57 on a cold morning. Comin in the second lap he lost all boost. He came into the pits and we noticed the bolt holding the pulley in place snapped clean in half.

The torque produced from the blower clearly is too much for the brackets to handle as the main mounting brackets wer bent by 1/4 of an inch.

We fixed the bolt and slapped on a new belt. Now we wer just frustrated as his car was running so good with the new tune but the mounting stuff and belt wer garbage.

He went out again and I seen him come in after a lap and I knew something was wrong.

SAME THING HAPPEND AGAIN.

srsly? Wtf kraftswerk. This is fourth time this has happened to my buddy and the first two times he addressed the issue to kraftswerk that the belt should be wider and stronger. The v3 does exactly that. But they never helped my buddy out but literally took his suggestions and made them into the v3 and started to charge people 210$ for the new Supercharger belt. Wow way to make profits.

It is just annoying at this point as he was getting ready for GTA in November but the belt keeps breaking of the bolts keep snapping.

Lets St try to get this across kraftswerk and fix this issue for everyone.

Thank you.

also is this the 30mm kit? edit: asking because the belt looks a lot thinner than the belt that is currently on my car.

I forget the the blower name or mm but my buddy knows. But he got the blower straight from rotrex and he asked for the biggest blower they have.

Btw the belt would have stayed on if the bolt and mounts brakets didn't break/bent. But eventually that skinny belt would have snapped under the torque produced.

Problem is the other kits are worse plus they would have hard/impossible time reaching 500 whp.

He is probably going to detune to 450 whp and see if that works. If not, he is going to run the kit over with his car and go NA.

I know Dustin (ddess) runs the c38-91 & he hasnt had any issues as of yet. (he's had the kit if i recall for a year now(?))
has your friend tried contacting kraftwerks direct to have them send him the revised pulleys/belt/mounting brackets?
i've had 0 issues with kw customer service as of far

edit: i just reread your post. considering he bought straight from rotrex, not sure how the warranty / customer service portion would work out for him :|

KW kit has been documented to have these issues over n over again. Sorry you friend has these issues... KW kit worked for me on the street, i was one of the lucky ones. I dont know many if any that run it on the track that dont have problem after problem with bolts backin out, or belts snapping on the regular. KW doesnt seem to care. They are great for customer service, but horrendous with their product for CUSTOMER SATISFACTION!!! i dont want them to next day air me 10 belts every time it snaps, i want the belt to not snap 10 times... if you get what im saying.
