I think the 7670 is ideal for a 2.0L and a 8374 ona 2.2L...granted, only based off dyno runs and maps mostly from the EVO peeps. Still tho, those are the 2 id personally run. When you have a head that flows as well as the s2000, you can't choke it off on either side. What point is a shitload of power @4k rpm, when the Turbo wont carry power to redline? You ideally want the flattest torque curve possible...which wont happen ona turbo that runs outta cfm on pumpgas, before redline.

I'm currently on a PTE BB6266... Looks like it may be going out. I also am having a manifold issue (3rd time on the same manifold). So it's time to change things up.

Im running a 2.4L stroker with roughly 9:1 compression and a EFR 7064, the turbo is quick to spool but runs out of steam slightly up top. Car made 450hp 400tq on pump gas @ 16 psi, full spool by 3800 rpm. Turbo is supposed to be good for 550 hp, but I don't want to push it to much. If I did it again I for sure would go with the EFR 7163, supposed to spool faster and make more power. The EFR 7064 with the large turbine and small compressor is designed to make large amounts of boost. Full race states it should make 45 + psi, however it will not flow that much unfortunately.

For the op I think there is only good efr option if he wants to get to 700+, is the 8374.

I will have lower compression as well and honestly only want about 380-400hp on pump and maybe 450-500 on e85. Overall numbers don't matter too much to me just want a zippy fun car that can at least boost up to redline. If this turbo won't work it will be changed down the road. BTW full spool at 3800 is insane I bet thats fun. I agree with Alloy though if OP wants 700hp the bigger turbo will be better suited.

Full Race is saying the big 9180 is what I'm going to need... I just want to see one on an S before I pull the trigger. What are some good Garrett options? I've only ever had Precision. They make great power, but I've only had bad reliability issues with them.

According to the power chart a GT4094 will achieve the power you want, but will likely spool much slower than the EFR.

Look into ForcedPerformance. They make a 6466 with a garrett center section.

I like my PTE 6466. I think the 67mm BW is a little big for 700hp goal.

I don't know about on s2k, but on evo the 6466 spools about the same as the 6266 and has killer top end. It's really a great turbo. Would be a good upgrade.

I have a 7670 with .92 IWG A/R on my f20c. It's going down to Quantum to have a manifold and DP made on Monday, should be getting tuned mid-late next week. I'll report back on what it makes on pump 93.. Talking to some people with this turbo on other cars, and similar sized turbos on these cars, I don't see it falling short of 450whp. My goal is the magic 500.
