Nice, you come charging in here calling everyone ignorant and that we're all living in 2002? You're on your way to being well recieved, keep it up.
Either way, you're in the FI forums where people actually have legitimate dynos that show a 70-100 rwhp gain and loads of videos of FI vs stock to back it up.
You're saying you "probably" lost 20 rwhp... sorry, i dont trust your butt dyno nor your theoretical numbers. I'm sure a lot of your power loss could be attributed to less intake/exhaust noise, but noise doesnt translate into power.
I've seen some pretty goofy looking dyno graphs posted in the JDM forums. Why is it that valid dynos are so abundant in the FI forums and that anyone would be hardpressed to find a dyno graph that was done under controlled conditions to show the delta?

If someone dynos at 195-200, adds a 70mm single, and tunes, and makes 225, it can be said that the exhaust in conjuction with tuning made the 20 something horses. If you tune a stock car, you usually are about 210 with a VAFC. Where is the extra power coming from? AJ racing dynod 218 untuned with t1R70mm and J's header, an intake and I think the hondata manifold if I'm not mistaken. Where is that power coming from? Just a header has shown to only add 4-6 horses, even with tuning. There is a missing link somewhere... oh, the exhaust.
So yes, the 70mm single with tuning is going to add an additional 10-15 rwhp.
I'm still waiting on the quote where I said everybody is ignorant, i'd like to see it. I vaguely remember seeing that I called one individual ignorant for making such a statement that an aftermarket exhaust won't make power on a naturally aspirated s2000. That is an unintelligent statement. The correct way to have said anything would to have said "I've never really seen any dynos that show gains, do you have any dynos or people that can shed some light?" His statement WAS ignorant because he was reaching into unknown territory. I don't ever poke my head into an area of which I have zero knowledge and start spouting off crap like that. And I think your reply to me was unnecessary as well. You are trying to put words into my mouth and make me out to be someone that I am not. Don't go there again.

There's your quote.
Seeing as how you're not replying to a specific person, and last i checked PEOPLE= plural, i'll take it that you were addressing a broader audience. So because I, along with many others dont believe what you have to say, that makes me ignorant? Please... oh wait, I'm also removed from reality -where was your dynos showing without a shred of doubt that those $$$ parts make the power you claim? Or is because you want to believe so badly that your cool sounding exhaust makes good power, that you'll believe anything you see?
Claim after claim... 15 rwhp here 5-6 here... 3-4 there... glad to see you can add, but still unsubstantiated claims. Again, show me a dyno of a stock s2000, then bolt up some crazy JDM exhaust, redyno it again and show me exactly a 15 rwhp gain. I'd rather not use some 200 dollar piece of electronic that does a rudimentary job of leaning out my motor to achieve this amazing 15 rwhp either. Is running your motor lean and having to reset your ECU every week after it adapts to your VAFC really a viable solution for power?
How about instead of demanding that I "stop putting words in your mouth" and to "Dont go there again", you learn to write in a such manner that isnt so inflammatory and actually support your claims with REAL evidence?

Again, show me where I said that everybody was ignorant. Your quote of me and you saying that I said everybody is ignorant do not match up. Once again, quote me where I directly called everybody here ignorant.
I didn't say that you're ignorant if you believe something to be a certain way, I said that he was ignorant, and that people are ignorant if they go around spouting off the crap that he said. If you believe something, keep your mouth shut or ask nicely for evidence. Don't go on record making a statement about something that you have NO CLUE about except for your own speculation.
And where the hell does the big $$$ come from? I never endorsed any products that are JDM to be the end all be all. You again, are putting words into my mouth - thinking that I'm some JDM ricer who buys Mugen sweat bands to put around my reservoirs (look, I'm putting words into YOUR mouth now!). Oh, and T1R isn't JDM, get your facts straight (again).
Rudimentary job? Where the hell does that come from? Why don't YOU show me evidence that the VAFC is a bad tuning piece for mild bolt on applications? You can't. It works without a hitch. There is no CEL EVER, and no hiccups at all. The thing is able to be changed on the fly. You can adjust your VTEC engagement and lean out your AFR at a very affordable price. How is that rudimentary? Oh... it's not.
And why would you want to reset your ECU every week? I don't know where that came from. I mean I GUESS if you only tune WOT settings, you wouldn't have to worry about that, right? Yep! WOT settings stay put, and the ECU doesn't compensate for that.
You want evidence? I can't provide it because I don't have any dyno graphs to show you. The absense of evidence does not prove evidence of absense. I don't need to show you, or want to. My tone in the past few posts is due to a very close-minded and ignorant comment, and now you coming here to try and embarrass me and catch me on something. You won't get it, so just cease. I'm a very light hearted and fun person. I mean, just look at my avatar/signature. I am a huge goofball and easy going person. However, I find stupidity and ignorance to be extremely unacceptable.
Go buy a membership.

This pissing contest isn't making either one of you look very intelligent.

Nor you, after your ridiculously rude comments in regards to the "NA tuning" forum. 90% of the people on this site that venture to other areas knew exactly what I meant when I said that - sorry I didn't use the S2KI approved title. Oh, and I don't really see any separation of "pissing contest" and your commentary on my calling a forum the "NA tuning" forum. Thanks.
There is no NA tuning forum, and just because somebody says there is doesn't make ME stupd, even if 90% of the people here do know that NA is supposed to mean JDM. You are now trying to expand the pissing contest, but I'm not stupid enough to play your silly little game.
You say something, get it wrong, and get pissed when corrected. I feel sorry for you, but thanks for expressin your opinion. This thread is now ready for moderator action, thanks to fine people like you.
Just for the record, here's a direct link to my supposedly stupid and rude post. Everyone can draw their own conclusions. I feel no shame.

Get it wrong? Haha because I didn't use the exact term that s2ki uses, and I didn't cross-reference to make sure it was word perfect? Haha, you are a joke

OK, that's funny, but can we move on?
