OK just got home from the dyno. First let me thank Skunk 2 for the cams and Inline Pro for the valve train. Here's how the car sits as of today...

Current mods-
Lovefab manifold
GT3082R turbo
Inline Pro Double Spring and Ti retainers
Skunk2 turbo stage 2 cams
Supporting mods (fuel and ems)

There was some strange things happening on the Dyno today. I am going to have them dynoed on another dyno jet but can't really compair them at that point. So what happend that made me scratch my head? The cams went in last night I put around 100 miles on them before beating the snot out of the motor. Everything looked good Air fuels where in the 11's like I wanted them. This afternoon on the way to the dyno same thing, car was running great. We stapped it onto the dyno and instantly started running pig rich. How rich you ask? Let's just say I had to take out 30% fuel to put the AF values back in to the 11's. That's a lot of fuel. Rule 1 in tuning the less fuel you are spraying at the same AF the less power you are making. So the outlook was not so good. Played with timing a bit and called it a day. On the way home I got on it and AF jumped into the 14's So guess what, I added 30% fuel and behold the 11's again. I've never seen anything like it. I've never had a 30% differance in fuel dyno vs. street. So like I said we are going to try a differant dyno. On another note, I lowered VTEC from 5700 to 5200, and the car loved it. This is not normal for my setup. Here is the dyno plots.

Red lines are Skunk2 cams, blue are the stockers. As you can see they are about the same, but with having to lean the car out 30% on the dyno I don't think those are accurate numbers. The one thing I don't like is that it seems to fall off at 8000. Fine for the AP2 guys, not so much for us AP1s. More to come in the next few days.

Thanks for sharing. 30% difference is very odd... Could the dyno's a/f sniffer have been playing up? Did you compare it to your own a/f gauge?

Both the dynos sniffer and my AEM UEGO read the same. I've been giving myself a headache trying to figure out why the car did that. So far all I've been able to think is that it doesn't like me And 30% is lot, especially on 1000cc injectors normally running at around 70% duty.

Ok, long shot here, but - ambient temps/pressure? nahh...couldn't make that much of a difference. Or maybe an overheating fuel pump?
