Temps where within 10 degrees and humidity was 10% higher. Hardly enough to make that big of a differance. Fuel pump I might go with, but the fact that as soon as I strapped down the car went rich and as soon as I unstrapped it went lean.

The only thin I can really think of is air flow into the turbo, but like I've said I'm never had this problem on a dyno. I'm really leaning towards the dyno having PMS.

I figured it out. After looking at logs of both street and dyno run injector duty cycle was the same. This means that when I was lowering pulse width on the injectors I was compensating for soming else. Then I thought about it, the dyno was simpley not creating enough load. This was causing the accel maps to over compensate and cause a rich condition. By leaning out the injectors I was in affect compensating for the lack of load.

The short and skinny is that the numbers are accurate. I lost peak power but was able to lower VTEC and gained a little power in the mid range. This does me no good as the car is mostly a strip car and after 1st gear never falls below 6k.

Not that I'm seeing at this point, not for my application any way. Since I'm my car is being geared more towards quarter mile times, the lower VTEC and little gained in that range won't help much. I will be calling Skunk2 today to discuss the outcome of the dyno and we'll go from there.

Damn, that's kind of dissappointing to do all that work and not get any gains up top.

All the cams that have been tested have been on 400rwhp cars. Can someone step up with a NA car? I can step up with a mild FI car @ 9psi.

i was thinking the same thing.. unfortunately i already sent my BC cams back for a refund.. i never installed them though, just kind of got worried once i read that no power was gained if not lost..

im currently boosting 10psi with a Comptech aftercooled set up.. i wonder if a supercharged set up would be a good? i dynoed at 350rwhp with a cat. converter installed.. i just installed a Megan test pipe and will be tuning it again soon..

(if aftermarket cams keep going the way they are, i might just install some gears and call it a day )
