This is how mine started, and it will only continue to get worse to the point where there is a significant amount coming from the blower. Im in need of rebuilding mine as its been on my garage floor for 9 months now

Where would you put the catch can in?

Would krank vents help the situation?

PS - I'm new to FI!!!

Sorry to bring an old thread back to life but I am having the same problem with my vortech. I am venting the front valve cover breather to atmosphere so it can not be sucking in oil from there. I get a little oil in the intake hose and my blow off valve will spray a small amount of oil when it goes off. It is not much oil at all. Should I be worried about this? Or do a lot of people get this with these blowers?

I'm not sure about the Vortech but I know my Comptech does the same thing as the ones pictured in this thread. I recently installed a Krankvent so I'll see if that helps. I also have a catch can I will try and install if I can find the room in the engine compartment.

If a seal goes bad, you will probably know it. I bought my car used with the Comptech kit already installed. When I started taking it apart, the crossmember was literally covered in oil. It was caked on the inside of the SC outlet as well. I replaced the seals and it is much better, looks similar to the pics you posted instead of this:

I have found the oil from my air filter on the Comptech get pulled through.
It then seeps out all over the cross member
Maybe that is the cause?

I noticed the tinniest amount of oil in the intake hose on my vortech but that is all. I assumed it is from the blow back or from the air filter itself, it wasn't puddled but putting my finger in there revealed it by feel.
