lol sorry if it felt like we were ragging on you. You would be right if the superchargers for our car were roots type, like the SOT supercharger, but 99% of them out there are centrifugal, so I'm sure you know why it wouldn't be what he's looking for.

Coming from someone with a high boost SC installed...what you are looking for is a turbo. My power curve is just as mentioned, same as stock just a lot more. Good luck with your search.

To make good power w/o going over the top and great low end, I think people would be dumb to look beyond the greddy. Something like a ptuning kit might be nice in theory, but why drop $6k+ when you can hit your goals spending about half that?

~300whp is nothing to sneeze at in a light car, and I think people lose sight of this fact when they see people making 500+whp, and start to think ~400 is "average." If you're making 300whp with a meaty low end and midrange, you'll have no problem passing minivans.

Sc doesn't help the low end honestly.

Who needs low end when you have a transmission with 6 gears to choose from. Pick the right gear and step on the gas. If it’s too loud, pick a more suitable exhaust. If your trying to pass a car, your not going to be doing it at 3k rpm.

That aside, the greddy kit is the best option for what your looking for, second to a roots blower.

With the right turbo, you can.

Sounds like he bought the wrong car, too loud, dont want to have to rev it to get it to move, not enough torque.

should have bought somthing with a v6 in it if u just wanna chug around town at 3k rpms.

All that being said, greddy kit is the way to go for what you want.

All good replies and point taken.

4forall: You're right, but that's not how I feel all the time. There's a time and place for every style of driving. I do drive it like how you would want me to but not 100% of the time. And I actually do have a V6 to "chug around town at 3k rpms," so maybe I am too accustomed to that.

you probably saw me describe it as good from stoplight to stoplight. I used to daily drive w/ the greddy kit and it was awesome for the increased low end torque. As others have said, the top end falls off though, so hopefully that won't bother you. Even with spirited driving, i hardly had to rev past 7K (F22). There was more than enough get up and go with this kit, plus you don't have to upgrade diff and don't need a crazy clutch either (a ACT street disc held fine). I think it's a perfect kit for a DD. And as others have said, you can get away with being quiet too. many people have run the kit with a test pipe and stock exhaust which should be fairly quiet. Or you can run it with a stock cat and something like a 70mm catback and it'll still be fairly quiet.

Put a small turbo, surely will go like crazy on low rpm -- then what do you do beyond 5500 rpm?
Honda can go as much as 9,000 -- the small turbo become your nemesis & restrictor.
Go big - late power but will go crazy in high rpm - You can't get two things at the same time -- either or...
