Default Smallest mushroom filter available

I bought the hks super mega flow 150mm mini but its still too big to fit for the intake of my comptech supercharger. I am running an intercooler in stress of the factory aftercooler setup so I could not utilize the air filter box that comes with the kit. Anyone do this type of set up and what did you use besides fabing up some tubing to put the intake somewhere in the nose section of the car?

Oh the filter can be no larger than 3" deep from front to back ( back I mean the back of the fitting).

pipe it away. you are going to prolly restrict flow with a very small filter. and a comptech blower with a fmic is going to have to be pullied so far down to get decent boost

Gah, what is that GIANT fan shroud thing you have there? I'd be looking for other alternatives for that monster to free up some room.

The shroud is actually almost resting on the fan housing, so don't get anymore clearance when I take it off. If I wanted to go in between the two fans than it would be beneficial to remove the shroud.

Too deep. 3.5". I need in a perfect world something 2.75" deep... Anyone...

I would go/call K&N they have just about any filter size for anything you could want.

Just did the online chat with them, and they could not find anything. I will have to have a custom filter made or pipe it to the front nose...

Get rid of that massive shroud thing and get a slim fan. Put the fan on the other side if you need to. The bigger the filter, the better
