So I plan to get my hands on a Kraftwerks kit, would you use SOS or KW?
As some of you may know I've owned pretty much every brand of supercharger (CTSC on my Rio 05 and my GPW, later had Vortech on my 07 before finally going to SOS on my 09)
My plans is to get my hands on a Kraftwerks kit later this month but debating right now, should I pull the SOS kit off my car and try this one or save it for my track car which is an AP1?
Which design is inherently better for the track? More reliable? Better to be tuned?
I like the visual impact of the SOS kit but lately I got this itch to try something new
If you guys had these options which route would you take and more importantly, WHY?
My SOS kit is on my 09 AP2 and the KW kit is pending which car to go into....

The KW sounds like ass compared to the high pitched whistle of a standard centrifugal. The KW sounds like a giant flex fan or vacuum leak, how does that sound bad ass? anyway I couldn't resist commenting on that
If your feeling the itch to try something new, try upping the boost on the SOS instead of replacing it with something less powerful

Something new...go E85 and a smaller pulley. I myself plan on running ~16psi pulley on my SOS kit (after I upgrade to a 1200 blower). This should be perfect for the twisties/canyons.

If you want something different. Get a TTS kit. That will net you the best torque curve and impressive hp numbers.
Dont waist your time with a KW kit, youll be hard pressed to reach 390whp and above without MANY bolts and and most likely overspinning the blower.

I agree with Rain, if you're going to spend the money for the KW, spend it wisely and get a TTS bracket and/or the complete kit. The C30-94 is just not adequate in the KW kit. I changed out of the KW and went to the TTS bracket with a C38-81. It really brings the engine to life and there is no comparison between the two. You could even go with the C38-91 and be at 20psi.
