Some help diagnosing my dyno woes
Okay, here's the issue, I'm using Emanage Ultimate but am not too familiar with the software and with the heaps of conflicting and conplimentary info I often get lost with what to do. I've also been getting HEAPS of help from Scott so that has been fantastic.
In any case, here's my problem. The power seems to climb up until 6K when it just plateaus. At first, my tuner would tell me to shut it down once the power dipped, but then he wanted to see what was happening because the afrs were okay so we kept going and then at the end of the powerband it started to climb again, but as the graph shows, it's a HUGE flat spot.
I'm running 630 injectors with the emanage ultimate with a 60-1 turbo, but if anyone can shed some more light on this, that would be fan freaking tastic!!!
Cheers

Are you going into vtec? Are your second set of cams kicking in? Have you tried raising the vtec up to see what happens?
What exhaust and plugs are you running are they the correct ones for your application? You really need to list every possible detail, like psi and all the parts and be specific to get more help.

looks like vtec is not kicking in. I'm not familiar with emanage, but I would do another run, and datalog things like map, vtec on/off, ign, trace hi low cams etc and see whats really going on.
If you are running a log manifold, it could be that vtec is set too low for it. Try raising vtec to 7000 rpm and see what happens. A friend of mine had the same problem with his inline pro manifold and had to put vtec switch over to 7000 rpm, anything below and it would have a big dip like yours.
Sorry guys, I forgot to add some of the essential details! I'm currently on holidays so it's hard for me to get access to the net. In any case, it's running a rev hard log manifold and it's running at 5.5 psi. There seems to be no audible indication that VTEC is kicking in so yeah, I'll have to really check that. The exhaust is a straight 2.5" turbo back (no cat or no resonator) and the plugs are just your standard run of the mill ngk's. At my current boost levels my tuner said it was necessary to switch to anything too drastic and they are gapped at .035.
As for chaning the VTEC crossover, we were searching on the emanage ultimate program and there was no immidiate place that indicates where we can do that so is there something that I need to upgrade. I don't even know what version to be honest I'm running! I was also told to check the harness I have to the ones that people have used and the manual so I'll have to give that a go when I get back home.
Cheers again for the help lads!
