Yes, the bearings will keep the compressor's wheel spinning even with out exhaust pressure until friction overwhelms momentum.

It's normal with the ball bearing GT series turbos. Mine generally spins for 30+ seconds when shutting down the car.

Mine spins maybe 5 seconds.
I am still worried, maybe I should try to record the sound. Got a studio microphone that might be able to get a grip of the sound.
but it doesnt have shit on the sound on that 30r spooling up, i swear it sounds like theres only a turbo under my hood with out an engine, only time i cant hear it ripping air in is when my gate opens, then all hell breaks loose lol

I love that sound! Although the open wastegate sounds like anus.
Edit: but it's ok because it turns my knuckles white.
