SOS FINALLY releases the Pulley Chart
Have any of you guys/girls noticed SOS finally released a pulley size chart for the 1220/1200 blowers? All I can think is, its about time. It seems that for the past two years there have been inconsistencies posted all over the board about what people are netting for boost levels. Obviously elevation is a concern along with other factors. I'm just really heated right now over what myself and my friend were told when he first ordered his kit when they first came out (His kit is now on my car). Now we know why 518135 was only able to net 408whp, because what we were told was a 18 psi pulley, WAS ONLY 11.5ish! Actually, according to the list a 3.0in not even supposed to be used on an F20
OK, Ill end my rant there haha

how much boost did you actually make with it according to your gauge?
I am running the 3.2 inch on my 1220. My datalogs show close to 10psi. My car is an AP2. I was expecting more since they told me i should see a little over 12psi. I think maybe they got the blowers mixed up when I asked them. Regardless, they have been super helpful when I have called. Loving my kit.
Thanks for noting this. This chart has not been posted previously because there simply was not enough testing of every engine combination / compressor available. Some of the combinations have been tested (such as the standard configurations for our stage 1 & 2 kits). Others are estimated based on efficiency charts available for the two compressors. These numbers vary drastically based on air density, intake efficiency, and charge cooler design, so they should only be used as a very rough starting guide.
The only sizes / pressure ratings that which are "for sure" are the standard pulleys used with either our stage 1 or stage 2 kits. All of which have been tested in house by ScienceofSpeed.
thanks,
-- Chris

What Chris said above is exactly what he told me, so I knew in advance that the boost level wasn't set in stone. I'm excited to see what my kit does. (AP1, 1200, 3.8" pulley.)
My dyno appointment is on Monday. I'll post the measured boost level afterward so we'll have another data point.
