Default SOS Kit vs Vortech V3 blower kit.

Ok, the SOS kit will not offer the 1200 self lube version of the paxton blower. Not sure if that is a positive or negative at this point. SOS claims they have a new bracket and tensioning system, but is it really better than the vortech setup?

Vortech has a 3 year warranty vs the one year warranty from SOS. Con in my book.

Is there any real pros or cons for engine oil vs self lube blowers i.e. heat dissipation, no oil pan tappping. Does the self lube version run colder or hotter than engine oil?

The efficiency of the new v3 is awesome, not sure about 1200 paxton. As for price, you can get vortech for $5199 & $250 rebate so it is the same price as SOS system. Plus 3yr warranty.

Anybody have any thoughts or experience running sel lube vs engine oil blower?

I have the V3
Tapping the oil pan is the #1 way for me in my book. But I have the New V-3 and its really simple to change the oil of the blower. Ill post pics I think even a 5 year old can do it.

Do you have pictures?

Also... does anyone know the efficiency of the older Vortech blower compared to the new V3 blower?

So what will it take to hit 400 on the new V3? Just a pulley change? No engine work, no headgasket?
