SoS sport clutch.
I've priced out and have been starting to plan my Ptuning turbo build over the past few weeks and Drew @ Ptuning has suggested the ACT clutch package they offer. My problem is, Ive heard a lot of negatives about clutch buzz and was wondering if the science of speed sport clutch would be a better option.
I'm aiming for 400-450 whp and that should get me around 300 tq?
I'm looking at the SOS clutch because of the superb reviews and seemingly little to no buzz.
I've done the searches and researched it and that's why I'm here. Does anyone have any experience in that power range with that clutch?
Any advice is welcome (as always).

I had the SOS for a few months. No buzz, and it held 421whp fine... But that was supercharged. My centrifugal SC setup only made peak torque at redline whereas a turbo setup can do it throughout most of the rpm range. So you'll put stress on it a lot more of the time than I did. Also you're starting at or above the max capacity for that clutch. I'd choose something else for your application.
I have the Act now. Smooth as butter to drive, but yeah plenty of buzz.

X2 dont get the ACT disc, get the stock oem disc. No chatter or buzz at all. Drives like stock and will handle a lot of power down the road.
i was in the same situation as you.. i wanted to stay away from ACT because of all the old issues with crankwalk etc. I know they may or may not have been caused by the clutch but regardless, I was uneasy putting something associated with the crankwalking stories in my car.
I went with the SOS sport and was tuned at 14-15 psi on the PTuning kit with the GTX3076.
I made 495 whp/340-350 wtq and it held up fine with no slip. It held dozens of dyno pulls at around this power level and showed no signs of slippage.
Only thing I would say is that the SOS clutch is a little more "grabby" than the ACT. The ACT I felt I could slip alot more then the SOS.

So if your making around 400whp with a turbo setup, SOS sport clutch or stock disk with ACT pressure plate will hold this power reliably I take it?
Also your saying OEM disk with ACT pressure plate holds more torque than the sos sport clutch? If thats the case, I know my new setup.
