Very good point, and one I never thought to address. I pulled mine out on several occasions, and it was always soaking wet. My only concern would be creating a boost leak, but other than that, good call.

 

So on the factory TB does that shaft seal get damaged from meth and start leaking air? The weep hole sounds like a good idea, but I would not want an air leak there. If not then I may give this a try.

 

I haven't noticed any idle issues or any loss of boost @ 10psi. I figured if the hole caused a problem I would just seal it up if needed.
I use dentured alcohol/water mix instead of methanol due to I don't want to use something as corrosive as meth. The water does the lion's share of heat removal anyway, the additive is just to prevent the water from freezing.
