ehh, to each his own. i had a roots blower on my car. the end all be all of instaboost. i saw more power under the curve at 10psi then a CT blower could dream of, and instant boost response is not a replacement for power when you street drive. it just isnt. sure, i stomp on the gas now and i have to wait while the snail spools, but it hits 10psi pretty quick above 5k and then shoots to 14 and the car dips back and takes off like a bat outa hell. i never had my car dip back and shove me in my seat while on the blower.

if we were road racing, sure, boost response is nice. but around town, give me power.

i always am drawn back to the battle on the street between scotts turbo car and joeys SC car. joeys had good boost response and similiar peak number. scotts had turbo spool omg yuo have to wait and guess what, scotts car walked away each time. again, street driving is all i am referring to.

so again, ehh, its up to what you want.

If I ever S/C'd my Si I'd do the comptech setup over the KW. I've driven one and talk about instant torque from nearly idle to redline!...that's a nice setup!

E85 + Modifry shift beeper + 3" RR pulley + Paxton 1200 is all I need. That's enough to pull away from a 2012 GT500 and a second generation v10 Viper

Now mind you I don't have much experience driving many turbo'd cars. Probably the best I've driven is a stock 2007 335i...which is pretty good IMHO.

I really didn't like the lag...IE: time from throttle movement to on boost. No it wasn't very long but there is absolutely NONE on a my car (yes I tried at varied rpms etc). The midrange is nice but nothing exciting up top either. I drove it on 10# and then 15#. 15 was obviously better but just not my cup of tea. I would have liked to spend more time driving it but we ran out of time. At this time I'm fairly convinced that I will be sticking with a supercharger.
You have not driven my Ptuning car yet Ask "scrapdog" in his KW car what happened when we did a 70mph 4th gear pull. Sure there is some lag with any turbo car but once it spools look out. That kit pulls like a raped ape all the way to redline.
