Default SOS TS "Twin Scroll" Turbo

SOS New Turbo in Beta

From the gentlemen that brought us the most reliable Force Induction on the market. Part of this is speculation as much of the information hasn't been released yet, but this could be the best mid-range power turbo kit on the market if they complete it. This new time attack car seems to be doing great and I hope to see this soon.

So does anyone have any more information on this?

I was going to get their supercharger kit but this has greatly peak my interested and postpone me buying one.

Sounds like an awesome car but when we speak of turbo's. The technology only goes so far. I mean, lets face it.....turbo technology has only made a leap in the last relatively short few years. Even with the advent of CNC milling and Borg Warner EFR turbo's. You can only take something so far. All turbos come from one or two places and for those who think Precision turbo's all have flow maps, you'd be sadly mistaken.

So I venture to say is this..... if you are looking for a turbo kit that offers reliability and good fitment. I would choose one of the various kits that are out there. I personally feel all turbo kits for the s2000 have faults in it's design when you think of reliability in the long term and performance. I dont think any one of them is "perfect."

If it were up to me, I would build my own. No one has yet to have combined a short runner tubular manifold (bottom mount) with a quick-spool valve and a solid GTX3076R. This would be a setup that would make boost like a greddy turbo kit (no lag and does 200ft/lbs sub vtec) and have a power potential of 550whp. The power band would be as linear as you can get without going with a supercharger.

Or...... how about a Borg Warner internally gated twin-scroll on a F20c. Compact size, no extra wastegates or blow off valves needed. Simplicity at its best. Once you get into have oil sump lines and all this crap because you dont know how to tap the oil pan properly, then it may work but it's just another part that can and WILL FAIL eventually. I want to see one oil return line fail? ever. Cause it wont. Not even F1 turbo motor's from back in the day.

My crazy rant for the day. haha.....

I will agree to EFR turbo's being a great option on an S. Funny, I've brought some of the same points to some S guys but they all still flock to the mainstream kits.It might cost a little more to do(sometimes) but once you've finish you have something unique and built how You wanted it.

That's the plan here ... though it will be top mounted.
Agree that custom is the way to go.
