Sound Set-up?
Hello all this post is to list my future set-up (after rebuild) I was not really trying to cut corners, but not everyone makes 6 digits a year to blow on fun things lol. here is the down low:
set-up prior to engine failure:
Stock block
Stock head (no 3mm gasket)
FI Kit:
Turbo: unknown, seller lied about the size of the turbo
Manifold: 4-1 type custom design, not ELM not log style 2.75"
Downpipe: 3"
Huge FMIC
Aluminum intercoller piping
HKS SSQV
AEM boost solenoid
10 PSI tuned
K&N Filter
Engine Management:
AEM Full standalone V1 tuned at T1
2 AEM Serial Guages to moniter
Fuel system:
Stock rail
ID 1000's
Walbro 255
stock FPR
Cooling:
stock radiator
dual SPAL fans
water wetter
I think thats about it. the car put down 376WHP and 281 FT/lbs on a Dynojet.
2 weeks later (maybe 6 WOT pulls in that timeframe the motor blew)
detonation was the killer, but from what source is unknown still.
Motor build plan (new parts)
Parts I have already purchased all brand new*
Head:
Supertech Dual valve springs
Supertech Titanium retainers
Supertech STD size dish face Valves
Supertech Valve seals
the 3 angle valve job will be done at RLM in north carolina
Block:
Mahle Gold Series 87.1 Pistons
Brian Crower Econo Rods
ARP head studs
ACL race bearings
The motor will be built by Jason at superior auto tech. (s2ki handle: wadzii)
Turbo:
Precison 5857 JB W/Billet wheel, E-cover
retune at T1.
My question is does this sound like a good set-up to you all? I am truly hoping it will be once said and done. I now have more time to save up money because Im deploying again soon. What else is suggested to be further upgraded? Fuel system?
Thanks guys!

Just wanted to bump this back up, and the list is still the same with the exception of a few different parts:
Added:
Inline Pro Fuel rail
AEM Fuel Pressure regulator
Fullblown 340LPH fuel pump
Inline Pro Race TCT
Not much changed but a few things.
