Default sources for "switched-on power"

Hi everyone,
I'm adding a pump to my car and I'm looking for " switched-on power" or power that will only come on when the key is on and engine is running.
Does any one have any ideas? I'm looking for a source from the engine bay but if i need to i will run a input from the fuse-box that is inside the cabin.

Car is a 2007 MY s2000 (for clarification).

Any help is appreciated. Thanks again.

On my 01 there is one ready to go on the fuse panel under the dash. Its off to the side. You just need a standard flat female connector to plug into it. There is more then one. But if memory serves just one of them is switched with ignition. I ran my pump off this.

Its the same on the AP2, here's a thread for a AEM UEGO Wideband install that shows the connector location:

Why would you run a wire all the way back to the pump from the fuse block? Just use the switched power at the pump and split it off to run the other pump.

i was scratching my head too for running a wire all the way back to cabin?

what do you mean use the switched power at the pump? My pump has a relay with 4 wires (1 ground, 1 trigger, 1 to the pump and 1 switched on power) which i do not know where to access from the engine bay (hence my question).

I dont want to blow any fuses from overloading any electrical circuits, hence me looking for a source other than the fuse box under the dash...

The switched power is only to turn the relay or pump on, no real power draw. The wires that plug into the stock pump has a switched, constant and ground if I remember correctly. Even if the stock pump only had two wires, you would use the power as a switched for your new pumps. You would take the switched power that once turned on your stock pump like I did with my twin pump setup and run it to the switched on each relay for the new pumps. This is what triggers the relays to draw the power from the constant power that you will need to run from the battery. That constant power should be an 8ga wire and then off the relays you will run 12ga power wire to the pumps.

I guess the first question should maybe have been which pump are we talking about. For me it was the pump to run my meth injection. Dont have the factory air pump in place anymore like a lot of us. Fuel pumps? My recommendation with the picture shown of the aux off the fuse block was to run any external accessory like an extra pump or what ever it might be. It works.

I just tested my "ignition" port on the fusebox. It does not stay powered during cranking.
