Wanted to see what gaps people are running around the 650hp mark. I currently have to run .16 so that it won't blow spark out which is a really small in my opinion. I am on a 2006 stock block with around 41,000 miles, stock coil packs, NGK 9's, and E85. Also has anyone tried running RSX Type-S coil packs. It seems that their stock coil packs are a bit stronger. The olny reason I ask is I would like to open the gap a little more to try to get a litte better MPG and power.

I am running 23psi.

 

NGK 2669, 28psi .018" gap. Using OEM 06+ Civic Si coils (K series). These coils have been tested and tried in 1000hp cars, the gap you are using is perfectly acceptable given the appication...
