Any help on what the IK24s need to be gapped to for a Vortech would be awesome. Thanks for the heads up about using the gapping tool Revhi.

I have the IK24s. Mines around 0.032" gap with no problems but get those kind of the guage feelers which Xviper did use

Revhi is correct, the Ik24's are one step colder.
I had them in my car for a little while and didn't really like them that much (it was a while ago, so I can remember the exact reasoning but do remember I didn not like them that much). Sold them & went with NGK 7173's per recommendation of Joe with Hardtopguy.com. Never turned back
What is your 7173 gapped at?
I think I want to do that to.

I ran the IK24s gapped at 0.032 and they were great. I went colder with the IK27s when the boost was upped to 13lbs just to be safe. Just put them in and forget about them. You should be able to get them on the internet for a little over $10 each.

Thanks for the reply Sideways! I already have a set of IK24s from another member. I will be adding them next weekend when I start all my installs.

Actually, I was under the impression that gap was boost dependent. The higher the boost, the smaller the gap has to be in order to prevent spark blowout. SC's with included pulleys seem to like .034". I gap mine smaller than that because I'm a bit higher than a stock Comptech sc.
