normally this problem is the ems. ive seen a few aem ems that has this issue. reprogram will help it

Not necessarily. Others have been having the "hot start" failures (myself included) even after corrective tuning. My car was recently re-tuned by mase and we thought we had the issue resolved...only to have it happen again.

I believe the issue may be related to the starter wiring. One local member has built a custom heat shield, and the problem went away. I may end up going the same route.

BTW, I have the 1052.

no dont buy or get anything until you have taken it to the tuner most likely its in the tune... then if it that doesnt work i would start thinking about reprograming the aem.... we use the aem ems on k20's we build and most of them always have a start up problem on cold start.... half an hour on the tuners and its all good to go...
