well is the bw 9180 to rediculous for 500ish horsepower on pump, and DD?

i found a few BW t4 s363 with t4 .88 A/R with .63 inducer and .68 exducer which doesnt seem as monsterous as the 9180 so i might goes with this one

Bw jb ftmfw

I bet that failure was from serious abuse and poor oil feed.

Borg Warner is hands down going to be the best bang for your buck... If you want 500whp i would strongly suggest the 83/75 with the T3 .70a/r undivided turbine housing if you want to stay T3

this is the one ive been looking at. is this too much for stock engine with cams? i do want room to grow. i had a gt4088r on my b18 civic. will this be similar to that size turbo or a little more responsive than the gt40r?

It will work just fine. A handful of guys here run them and you could make ~700whp with the right setup, and still be good for 500whp on pump fuel.

sweet!!! im thinking im gonna go with it. i know the bc stage 2 cams aren't much bigger than oem, but between those and my custom made intake manifold i believe my motor should flow a little better than bone stock. maybe thatll help with spool a little bit. i have a buddy who welds for a living who could slap a 3" vband on it for me in exchange for a free round of golf, lol. im thinking of getting the kings performance sidewinder manifold as i live very close to them.

thanks for all the help

make sure he welds it the right way, i believe you have to use a nickle rod when welding on the housing
