stethoscope vs. knock volt limit?
Has anyone roughly correlated what would be the knock volt limit vs. what you heard on the stethoscope when tuning? In other words, as soon as you heard a moderate knock, what has the knock voltage range been?

Knock voltage vs what you'll hear out of a set of knock headphones can differ quite a bit. I have seen knock voltage ringing around 2 volts, and not heard audible knock until 3.5 volts at high rpm. Just depends on how much noise the engine generates. A good knock filtration in the software makes all the difference for a usable knock input for knock control. The series 2 AEM EMS has a frequency aspect that really filters out a ton of noise on the knock signal. I am very impressed with how well it works.
