Default STOCK BLOCK + FERREA HEAD

Getting ready for boost and was wondering how long would an ap1 stock block last (80,000 miles) paired would a complete built ferrea head with the oem ap1 cams, followed with arp head studs new gasket kit and seals??? Power goal between 500-700hp. Not sure if it matters to mention but getting it tuned by Evans tuning. If anything were to let go would the head be effected as well? what could go wrong? Boost gurus responds are appreciated thanks!

What could go wrong? Everything and nothing. But it does seem like you have a good setup and the stock block is very strong. I always like to invest in upgrading the cooling system. It will help the life of the motor.
The main thing to do is to do a compression test and a leak down test. That will tell you how healthy the motor is. If everything checks out it will be a solid setup for a while depending on how you intend to drive it.

I would check the oil squirter banjo bolts to see if they are the updated version with 4 holes, other than that you should be good with a built head.

As mentioned above, do a compression and leak down. Compression should be at 240 across the board for a 100% healthy motor. Lower numbers are good too between 210-240. Just make sure they are all within 5% off each other. If it checks out, the engine should hold just fine.

On the ferrera head however, if the valve guides were replaced without having them honed specifically to each valve, they actually can cause more stress in the head versus the stock valves.
