Default Stock thermostat and AEM ems

Hey i just installed my inlinepro turbo setup and the thermostat stays at 1 bar on idle on my '01 S2K, is this normal or do i have to change it out? The fans seem to cycle fine right now...any help is appreciated...

The AEM EMS won't operate the temperature gauge. Here's a fix:

Love the Modifry fix personally. The EMS and Modifry tend to disagree sometimes, but I think it's better to have it working than not. Why clutter with another gauge when you have a perfectly good one already? Just make it work.

or just monitor with your lappy. My coolant temps usually sits between 194-214, obviously getting hotter the more I sit in stop and go traffic on these 96+ deg days.
