How many of you guys 550-600 have hooked on street tires in 3rd and up ? I'm on star spec 255's and wonder about tire setups

 

i made 561 last summer and had falken zx 512 all season tires and hooked from 2nd gear rolls all day

We're you stock motor / headbolts ?

 

stock motor, arp head studs there only 130$ i wouldnt skip them

 

Not sure how thats possible, especially considering I spin my 295 extreme summer comp tires in the dry from the top of second gear with my Supercharged 260trq/400whp. I am running -3 camber for track/street however which should be mentioned, this makes me lose about 1.5" of contact patch. So basically a 255 effectiveness in a strait line. But still...

 

Well. I don't spin 2nd right now I'm at 470whp on a 255

 

i dont spin at all on nitto nt01s, 225/275 , tires are unbelievable, I spun through 3rd with star specs

 

But aren't you making like 750 haha ? I won't touch that !

 

eh 800, no big deal, you will prob be fine on 255 star specs
