Default Which strut bars fit SOS kit?

I just finished installing the aftercooler in my SOS kit and had to remove my S2X strut bar. Can anyone tell me which bars will clear the aftercooler w/clearance?

I find the strut bar VERY convenient (as a hand grip) during valve adjustments & oil changes.

The Comptech titanium bar fits, but it's a real pain getting the aftercooler installed when the bar is already in place.

EDIT: Found the pic I wanted to post.

I have the S2X bar myself (upper portion) and it was rubbing the top of the aftercooler. You have a TON of clearance compared to mine. Let me go try to reposition again.

thank you!

^I don't know about a TON of room, but it fits without rubbing the aftercooler. It actually fits better with the SOS kit than it did with my AEM CAI...

Sorry but I have to ask why do you want a strut tower brace? They do not make much differnce in the S2000 the chasis is very good until you are over in the racing forum running massive slicks on a full racecar the chasis mods are pretty minimal short of a cage and some welding on a few key areas. Other cars like Mustangs and FBody's have a very noticable improvment from them but not the S2000.

I need it as a handgrip. I often rely on grabbing my strut bar when doing valve adjustments, oil changes and other odds-n-ends under the hood. It's been on the car for so long, I wouldn't know what to do without it. Currently I'm using the blower as my hand rest.

I know the OP already answered, but I feel compelled to chime in.

1. It's a great handgrip. I use it for that too.
2. It makes installing and removing other stuff a real pain, negating the handgrip gains. (Although you can lean on it while cussing at parts that refuse to budge past it.)
3. It makes a very noticeable difference in how my car feels when steering around turns.

My car has yet to see a track, so I'm not claiming lap time improvements. But I personally found the stock AP1 S2000 to be a mediocre "sports car" with sloppy handling and marginal grip for street driving. A comprehensive set of improvements (springs, shocks, sway bars, wheels, tires and upper / lower strut bars front & rear) have created a completely different car with a much larger performance envelope. My expectations here are pretty high, and the strut bar helps my car exceed them.
