You can use ITB with SC or Turbo system. But, an another question comes to my mind. Can the surge tank will hold under those boost pressures? If I am not wrong most of the surge tank for S2000 ITB unit are 2 pieces and hold by a lever lock fastener. It might not hold those pressures so you will definitely need a one piece surge tank for that idea.

Most supercharger systems have the throttle on the inlet of the supercharger. This throttles the air into the supercharger so its not chewing power compressing air when you dont need it.

Think about it, if you have ITB's after the supercharger the supercharger is inducting free air and it going to be trying to push its full boost potential ( for the speed its going) through your closed ITB's. If it doenst blow a pipe apart its going to drain a truckload of power and generate a lot of heat.

On the other have if you have an almost closed throttle upstream of the supercharger its operating in a near vacuum and does very little work and drains very little power.

ITB's can be made to work with a turbo, but with a supercharge is going to present some engineering challenges.

i dont quite understand this. on a vortech system for the s2k, there TB is after the blower. when in vacuum there is a bypass valve that opens to release the pressure your talking about, so this wouldnt be an issue.

on a roots blower setup, yes the tb is before the blower, but even then there is still a bypass valve so this still isnt a problem.

but i still wouldnt go thru all the aggravation to make it work.

They have superchargers for m3's .

I think you may have been drunk or something when you wrote the rest
