cool, im just thinking about power for the money. I could buy an amuse exhaust and make 10hp or a CTSC and make 150hp...
Cant go wrong with a CTSC kit for the money they are going for used. Plopping down $6500 new is allot for me and so going used was the only way I could make it happen. On the stock A/C kit it works out to making about 5psi, expect to put on another 80 to the wheel at this level. If your expecting another 150whp you may be disapointed, though getting 150whp is very easy, you will need about 8-10 psi for that.

what they said.

but i'd definitely steer clear of the older comptech kits with the old mounting system that's prone to cracks, unless you plan on putting out $700 for the new mounting system. the last thing you want is for the vtec mounting block to crack while you're driving and spray oil everywhere.

With the CTSC with stock fuel injectors I get just about the same as N/A. This is with my fuel pressure maxed out with running at 8 pounds of boost mind you. If you boost allot you will see it reduced some, otherwise if you are worried about fuel consumption just drive normal with no boost and you will see no difference. I drive pretty hard boosting frequently and see 260-280miles per tank with my set up. I averaged 300miles N/A. For another 115whp of fun, I'd say its a very fair trade off.

You might, but I also run an 8 pound flywheel and a lighter then stock weight wheel/tire package which also offers a gear reduction of 4.30, so over a tank of gas all these things aid in some added miles i'm sure. I average 100miles a day, so for me to get 200 total out of a tank would be rather tragic. Filling up 2 to 3 times a week is enough thanks

If you are worried about gas mileage, then don't be surprised the first month or so you are definitely going to get shitty gas mileage because you probably try to stay in boost more which will cause you to use up way more gas, I've seen NA owners report not making over 200 miles per tank because they like to vtec a lot.

But after about a month or so, whenever you get used to it, and its not so new feeling anymore, you will fall back to your normal driving style, which by then yous should be getting about the same as you are getting now.

And when I first saw Junky getting almost 280 miles per tanks I was , but then he mentioned that he is running a smaller wheel/tire setup which read about 4-5 miles higher than actual MPH, so that makes more sense now. I get about 240-250 miles per tank on my 7 psi setup, and I run 4.3 final drive with a GPS calibrated speedo adjustment.

I agree with all the other guys who posted earlier. I purchased my kit new and have had 20,000 + trouble free miles. If it wasn't for the blower whine, you really don't know it's there until you hit VTEC. If you plan to stay in VTEC land, you will notice it by the power boost and reduction in gas mileage. Hey...you gotta pay to play

I don't know what area you are from...but I would recommend looking for someone in your local club forum who already has a charger. See if you can ride along or drive a blown car. Also, the owner may know where you can go for installation. Or, he/she may be able to help you install it yourself. It's not hard...but it is very time consuming.
