Search works like crap, so couldn't find my answer.
Picking up a vortech SC with aftercooler, and comes with the fuel management that came with the kit. The kit was previously on a '03 for 5k miles. My question is can I run this kit on a 05 with just the FMU that came with vortech? Already have the 255 fuel pump, and stock injectors. Thanks for the help.

 

Do yours come with the drive by wire throttle? Mine is a 04 and i used the black box. Now my kit was from a Ap1 and im running a little lean. So im getting the Aem very soon. I suggest when you put it on, let your tuner check things out to ensure your safe.

 

No it's not DBW, it is an AP1 kit. Is there a way to richen it with the black box, or even if you add a VAFC 2 to it?

 

Gettin it- did you add the extra injector?
I know about modifying the fuel rain and FPR. Didn't know if the extra Injector was needed to run.

 

Yes the extra injector is needed to run. But sadly to say we didn't modify the the fpr. So pretty much we have the same kit then. Ill be getting rid of my box and extra injector as soon as i get the aem, and another fuel rail and injectors.
