Default supercharger slippage issues?

well i have been reading a lot about this here and it seems that there are slippage issues with the SC's ??? is this mainly cause you are going with diff pulleys and therfore the other brands slip more than the stock pulley??? i would love to get comptech on my S, but im worried about engine issues??

I've had my Vortech on the car for well over 1.5 years. After the initial 400 miles belt tightening, I haven't touched the belt since. It has never slipped. The kit is still stock.
Issues can arise if the stock kit is changed. If left alone, the 2 kits available for this car work great. Once you start messing with it, you have to accept some of the consequences.
Also, belt slippage may also be due to the lock nut on the belt tensioner not being tightened in the proper way.

You are worried about non issues. Belt slippage is not a problem. The engine is plenty strong. Go for it, don't read all these posts and get paranoid.

No issues here of slippage....

I agree it's a non-issue. Identify it....and fix it.... pretty simple.
