So... basicly im confused i have a buddy who can get me a gt35r kit for my car which is a 05 s2000 with all supporting fuel mods and piping tuned on aem. or i can go with comptech tuned on aem. i want to get one of these done in august. just dont know the pros and cons of both on the s2000.

go S/C and keep it the base kit, it will be reliable, good amount of power, and carb legal....

go Turbo if your looking for the most power out of your car. IMO

gt35 is big power but laggy, gt30 would be better. i'm using gt2871r its good for 400-440hp and responds like crazy. so yeah i say turbo.

I didn't have any problems with my GT35R. I had full boost way before VTEC. What more would you need?

Pretty much the same exact thing for me...I'd say 4,500-5,000 rpm for me for full boost. Although I'm running much less boost than you and a restrictive exhaust system...
