Default Superchargers

I have made the decision to purchase a supercharger for my S2000. I am curious what the difference is between these two and which one you wold get.

I don't know much about either, but I do know that if you want a brand new one then it'll have to be Vortech... Unless a parts dealer would have one still, can't order thru Comptech anymore...

Comptech went bye-bye...

I would normally say Comptech. But Vortech is pretty much your only choice for SC now.

You can wait for Jackson Racing or BRP, but I don't see those coming out anytime soon.

There are no more comptech blowers. Comptech is closing its doors, and can't even fill the existing SC orders. You can get a vortech, or wait for jackson racing, or BRP as mentioned above.. but I do haven't heard anything about these for a long time.

or you can go turbo

vortechs ARE carb legal.

SC are an excellent choice for CA residents. I recently made the same decision. It is not worth the risk right now.

Yes indeed! Problem is, if you get a Comptech, no support, no parts...

For Cali people, look at the fines for not having a Cat. Imagine if they saw a turbo under the hood.
