What about the tranny to driveshaft connection and speedo?

 

will the driveshaft supplied with your 8.8 conversion work with the getrag?

 

The v160 uses a hall sensor so its only a matter of wiring it in and adjusting the pulse input. I will have more info on that shortly. The driveshaft will depend on what you have for a rear diff. We can have one made or modify the one you currently have.

Yes it will, but it will have to be modified. It's going to be $200-$250

 

sounds good lj, I'm in the process of finding a getrag now, what has to be modified? the flange on the tranny side?

Yes the flange and the driveshaft needs to be extended a few inches

I'm glad the price is lower then you've expected. We always try to keep the price down as much as possible.

 

So. Don't get me wrong I'm a huge full-blown fan. But we are talking

1000 for mounts
1300 for clutch
How much for flywheel?
5500 for brand new trans
300ish for drive shaft mod

So still like 8-9k?
