Default Suspension and traction

I have been running stock suspension on my car but I would like to lower it a bit. My concern is weather or not stiffer springs will effect traction. At around 600WHP I have little to no traction issues with 255/50/16 r888 tires. I believe the soft springs are a contributing factor to this. What has everyone's experience been with getting coilovers?

I am leaning towards the bilstein coilovers as they have similar rates to stock and will not compromise ride quality. My car is mostly a garage queen as it has only 36k miles on it.

Thanks

I went with the Eibach springs on the stock struts, and it lowered it nicely and they seem to work well with the added power and grip as well. I too do mostly roll racing and had no traction issues with over 800 whp on 275/40 DR's. It would just squat and go. I believe Josh Matteson (onebads2kracing) also runs the Eibachs on the rear (only switched the front struts/springs for more front end lift on launch since he dig races mostly) and he is over 1000 whp with no traction issues.

The bilstein coilovers will give you a significantly better quality ride over Eibach drop springs on stock dampers - which will feel under dampened at that point, esp in the rear. I couldn't imagine that being the preferred option after my experience.
