Default tapping oil pan?

I have been building turbo cars for awhile however, i am very new to s2000's. I am about to put my inline pro kit on my s2k soon. I would rather not tap the girdle. I was wondering if anyone has tried to tap as high up as possible on the pan without an issue? I would really like to know from anyone who has first hand experience. I tried to search but didnt come up with specific results i was looking for. So please dont tell me to use the search function. Thanks a lot guys.

If you contact inline pro they have pictures they can send you of where to tap the oil pan. I did mine myself its on the front right of the oil pan you have to grind 2 of the fins down and drill and tap a hole if your facing the car.

so in otherwords they dont want you to tap it under the turbo? they want you to wrap the return line around towards under the crank pulley area?

Yes because its the highest point in the oil pan and you don't want the oil to be backed up into the line cause the seals in the turbo can blow that was what i was told from my tuner.

Just FYI i didnt tap my pan there. I tapped on the highest point on the passenger side of the oil pan, it made for a real short return line and I have no oil backing up issues whatsoever. It should be noted that Im using a GT turbo which uses less oil.
