teflon on wastegate threads?

teflon on wastegate threads?
can I use teflon tape for the fittings on my wastegate lines? like the ones that screw into the top of the wastegate, or will it melt?

I never use Teflon tape on any automotive fittings after seeing a piece break away and eat a bearing on another car.
AN fittings don't use the threads to seal anyway, only time you put a tape/paste/etc is on pipe/npt style threads. I use a thread locker/sealer.
